Comedy at The Creek

Comedy at the Creek is back with another round of Stand-up comedy. Saturday, November 16th at Country Creek Reception Hall, we will have a brand new batch of 10 hilarious comedians to hit the stage live to dish out the laughs. There will be great drink specials available at the bar for patrons who are 21 and over. PJ'S Catering will have delicious food available. Brian Atkinson is a comedian, and played a serial killer on TV, while doing voices for PBS Kids. This guy-next-door with a radio voice talks about his career in broadcasting, voiceover, and being adopted twice, with twisted observations of everyday life. Brian is an award-winning comedian: Best of The Bash 2022 and 2023, World Series of Comedy 2023 Wildcard 1st Place Winner and 2024 Top 40 Comic, Funniest Person in Grand Rapids contest Audience Favorite, and Finalist in the Kingpin of Comedy.

Headlining Kim Cook

Kim Cook is a quick witted southerner who now resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She also has the last name of something she does not do well. Kim loves discussing her British husband, being a dog mom and topical events. She is a Second City alum and has performed at Zanies, Coral Gables Comedy Club, Gilda’s LaughFest, Plano Comedy Festival, The Annoyance Theatre, The Comedy Arena, and Hyena’s Comedy Club to name a few.

Kim is a recent breast cancer survivor. Ticket proceeds go to Gilda's Club Grand Rapids.

North Kent Comedy Nights

Join us every month at Flo’s in Belmont, for a stand up comedy showcase.
All proceeds from tickets donated to local charities and causes! North Kent Comedy Nights is the first project from the boys at North Kent Comedy Productions. Join us the last Saturday of every month at Flo's Pizzeria Ristorante & Sports Bar in Belmont, for a Comedy showcase unlike anything else in the area. We bring you some of the best Midwest talents, at a great local venue, and the best part is proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to a local charity or cause. Flo's Pizzaria and Sports Bar

Flo’s was founded on April 29th, 2011 by Daniele and Davide Uccello. It was a dream the two brothers had ever since they started working for their father at an early age. Daniele has always had a passion for cooking and Davide has always had a passion for service. It was a match from day one! Davide was 19 and Daniele was 24 when the two brothers started talking about it. There was little support from anyone besides their father and mother Salvatore and Franca Uccello; others thought they were too young but­ the two Sicilian born brothers never gave up and after years of persistence it finally happened! Ever since then the two brothers and their management have been committed to providing excellent service and authentic Italian food at the right value. Lastly as you browse the menu you will be looking at recipes that have been brought to America from past generations. You will also be looking at recipes that have incorporated various local Michigan vendors.

Chris Young - Headliner

You've seen Chris Young at comedy clubs, colleges and casinos as well as corporate shows nation-wide. He has appeared at the Gilda's LaughFest in Grand Rapids, MI the Laughing Skull Festival and the Canton Comedy Festival. His DryBar Special has millions of views. He was the winner of the TV20 Detroit "That's Funny" Comedy Contest on My Network, as well as a finalist in Dave Coulier's "Clean Guys of Comedy/Unbleepable Contest." Chris is also a favorite on radio stations all across the country.

Chris Young is able to take real life experiences and turn them into laughs that maintain a clean but funny appearance. Chris’s luck (or lack thereof) have lead him to look at the world through a different set of glasses. Having once been called a pessimist by a fellow classmate, he replied simply, that he is not a pessimist but a optimist, as he believes things could not get any worse!
